A spirited place satisfies children’s souls. It possesses a wholeness that makes the heart sing, the soul rejoice, the body feel safe and at rest. It is the spirit of a place that makes it memorable, that expands our sense of possibility and puts us in touch with what is most loving, creative and human about ourselves.

As homeschoolers, we strive to be actively involved in our local and global community, live our lives in harmony with the natural order of the world, and support our beliefs through lessons, readings, activities, volunteering and involvement in service activities. I am a believer in Maria Montessori's work, and use her teachings in our schooling.
